안녕하세요 Annyeonghaesayo~
28 Apr to 5 May with Five Stars Tour, Jeju & Seoul

Reached airport at 8.45pm to meet the tour leader. We took the night flight (via Korean Air) and reach Incheon Airport at around 6am+ KST (Korean time, which is +1 our SG time). The whole group met up with the korean tour guide (惠京姐 [Unnie], a korean-chinese mixed) at the arrival hall. After which, proceeded to the carpark to take the coach to our 1st stop. It was actually quite cold when we reach Seoul, around 6 or 7 DegC. Had some spare time before our domestic flight to Jeju, 惠京姐 took brought us to 景福宫 that is situated in Seoul.

Geyongbokgung 景福宫 [About]

Lunch was next and we headed to Gimpo Airport to catch the domestic flight to Jeju Island.

Jeju Island
1st stop in Jeju Island, the World Automobile Jeju Museum. It showcases all the antique cars. For example...

Glass Art Museum
Is a large glass art theme park with glass arts produced by professional glass artists from all over the world such as Italy, the Czech Republic, Japan and including Singapore!

Do you see the Singapore flag?

o' sulloc Green Tea Museum
Seriously can't remember much of this place, except.. i had a green tea icecream in the freezing weather. :P

Dinner was at this seafood restuarant by the sea. The name is call Jumbo, I wonder if there is any association with the Jumbo seafood restaurant in SG. Sadly, i am not really a fan of seafood.. Checked in to the hotel (Jeju Pacific) after dinner. After we settled in, the few of us ventured out to the streets but the only big shops around the area are electrical shops so we ended up in Family Mart (convenience store). Why Singapore don't have Family Mart ah??

The next day, after breakfast at the hotel, the tour continued..

Yongduam Rock 龙头岩
Symbol of Jeju, this rock is said to be in the shape of a dragon's head. Located on the coast of Jeju City. Legend claims that once an emissary of the Dragon King ordered a search for the elixir of life on Mt. Halla but was struck by an arrow released by the angry mountain spirit and fell into the sea. Then the dragon king turned into stone with its body submerged into water but its head reared to the heaven.

Seongsan Sunrise Peak
Rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption over 100,000 years ago. Located on the eastern end of Jejudo Island, there is a huge crater at the top of Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. The crater is about 600m in diameter and 90m high. With the 99 sharp rocks surrounding the crater, it looks like a gigantic crown.

Obviously i didn't walk up to the top. Haha.. Sources told me that there is nothing much to see up there and there's no sunrise to see anyway.. :p

Tangerine Orchard
To the fake tangerine orchard. Why fake? Because it wasn't the tangerine season and so they actually hang the fake tangerine on the trees just so that tourists can take photos in the orchard. haha!

Does it look real or fake?

Lunch = BBQ pork , before we headed to our next destination..

Teddy Bear Museum
Showcases popular teddy bears from different eras, movies, dramas etc..

Superman (bear)

How can i miss the Goong Princess Hours bear?

And this giant bear..

Jetboat experience
I wouldn't have the courage to take this ride, though most of my tour mates took it.

Dinner was seafood again, but this time, it was steamboat plus sashimi. Tried some sips of Soju and erm.. decided to give it a miss.. heh

Back to Jeju Pacific hotel where we packed up for the next day's departure, Jeju back to Gimpo Airport.
