Oh, for Rassilon's sake, Tieria Erde, stop wallowing in your self-pity, would you? If you think I'd lie about something like that, you're either just as bad as Donna is, or you're not a very good judge of my character, so which is it?

And as a matter of fact, I wasn't about to give you an ego boost, at least not yet. That virus didn't just make him rude and tactless, if that had been all it had been doing I wouldn't have deadlocked an entire section of the TARDIS with him in it.

Now look, I know that the idiot's not perfect and that smile of his might not always be entirely genuine, but that doesn't mean he thinks you're stupid and weak, only that he has a protection complex or something of some sort about everyone, and I think I ought to know about stuff like that, don't you?
