....sneakin in another update
This one is worth it.
I'm getting kittens on Saturday!!!!
I went this evening to check them out (the three listed in a couple entries before, all tabby striped, one with blue eyes!?).
I told the woman I would pick the two siblings cuz that's what I've been looking for the whole time, but then driving home I kinda felt this pull toward Leia (blue eyes) and feel like I want her instead of the gray (Monica) one. I emailed the foster parent who has had them for quite a while now and told her that she could pick which two she thought would mesh the best together. I told her I was leaning towards Rachel and Leia, but if she had input otherwise to let me know.
Leia was cute and real shy when I went there, but it was like she was overpowered by the other 11 animals in the house. She would go play with toys after the other kittens stopped playing, or watch them from afar and jump in to catch something when they weren't looking. It was like routing for the underdog! Or....dare I....undercat.
So Saturday between 11am-1pm I pick them up. In the meantime I have lots o' cleaning to do here so I don't be losing kitties in my piles of fabric on the floor. And I have to do extra shopping to get food and litter and feeders and cat carriers! Oh my!
Unfortunately that means I wont be going to the city to hang out with Luke or Jessi :( but it's for a totally awesome reason, so you have to give me that! And getting them early Saturday is good cuz then I have some time to get them acquainted to my apartment before I go leaving them alone on Monday.
I better charge all my AAs cuz the camera's going to be used a LOT!
