london baby

(even though im currently in france but well get to that later.)

my first day in london was, for want of a better word, shyte. after being berated in passport control and nearly not being let into the country, i was feeling fairly shaky, so it didnt help that i then had to wait for liz to meet me at kings cross, and she was 2hrs late.

after succumbing to jet lag (went to bed at 7pm, woke up at 3am) we slowly got up to see london in the bright (erm, ok cloud) of a new day. but it was worth it! camden markets are the shit, they were so awesome!! london was pretty much just shopping for us, the january sales meant the oxford street stores like topshop, H&M etc were madly packed, thus rendering them kinda useless for us and us petrified of them -- my god ive never seen crowds like that, ever!

i did however endure an experience of which ive never been a part of before; i went into starbucks. it was to see if they had free wifi (which they didnt) and i have to say, it does not taste good enough to have to endure that much americanisation!

so today was spent pretty much coming to paris; so far little kids hav been cute but hav exhausted all the french i know so eep! thanks to jess who called me at new years, it was lots of fun while waiting on the floor of st pancras international, and yes happy new year to everyone love you guys lots and lots!!!!

im gutted to say this its making me want to cry but i dont think im getting signal here like i did in london, ill most likely run out and buy a french simcard asap but will hav to see how it goes.

well that can be it for now, typing on this keyboard with all its wacky key changes is hurting my shoulder as well as my head!!
