“I drove for miles and miles and wound up at your door.” (Maroon 5)
How often does this line come true. Goodness. No matter how far and wide I roam, nothing can ever fill certain people’s places. Certain replacements never work. Goodness. I could have the time of my life with friends for days and months on end, but after it’s all over a small group of people (those who have taken a permanent residence in my heart) always come floating back and I’m found sitting on their doorstep waiting for them to come home.
