fast century
Well, it has been some time.
Quite some time.
It is currently 7:11 am and i just watched the sunrise from the window of a computer lab,
and have not slept or left this room since 1230 am roughly (minus nessesary bathroom breaks),
and on that note Hurray for finals! Luckily i am suprisingly not tired, and didnt mind the all nighter so much at all, it was nice in its own way,
when every you pass a certain hour of the night (morning) everything is real still and quite in a nice way, and since you dont go to sleep when you eventually see people
(when they wake up) it feels really suprising.
Ive been missing my friends back home very much, and anticipating summer in a big way,
while at the same time i am in no way ready for this first year of college to be over, and all that comes with that,
but realistically i think ive said that about every year of my life thus far, but still.
This past weekend adventured to DC, found out all the museums were closed, so rachel and i just wandered the city, saw the natural history museum briefly,
explored the swankiest hotel i have ever trespassed in, randomly got handed free tickets for a comedy show case in small small gallery, and found no dinner but a muffin and fruit in starbucks.
It was very nice, had good conversation with her and neal on train ride back, first real real good conversation in a while.
Before that saw Animal collective in towson with maire anne and allison, Further before that had a very epic spring break road trip from Baltimore to Penn, from Penn to Indiana, from Indiana to Milwakee, Wisconsin. Then a day trip from MIlwakee to Chicago, and an overnight trip to madison, and lots of coffee and hanging out in diners and driving around "sight seeing",
stood next to Lake Michigan in the rain, and it looked the ocean and i had to remind myself i was in the middle of the fucking contry, that was neat,
also it snowed, which is the first and only snow i would ever expect to encounter during "spring break". Inbetween those i played a very neat show at charmcity art space, which was a great experience, fueled me thinking about tour constantly even more, which makes me anticipate summer more, which makes me try to not hurry out of this year.
A lot has occured inbetween, but i have class soon now, strangely.
I miss you all and will see you soon. Im sorry if i havent called.
