Since I finally got a cassette adapter so I can use my mp3 player in the car, I haven't missed the radio at all. Being able to listen to audio books and once through those podcasts/etc at least for me makes the drive much more interesting/bearable comparatively.

Highly recommend trying it if you haven't.
