Victory is mine!
So I passed my state licensing exam for Life, Accident and Health yesterday. I'm relieved, though wish I had done better. It's basically a pass-fail, with a 70% required to pass. I got a 78%. Not as well as I would have liked, but since it doesn't matter a whit, I'm cool with it. Next up is property and casualty.
Life insurance is actually pretty interesting. There's a lot of ways you can set yourself up to start stockpiling the moneys besides hoping that your company has a 401k. Health is pretty boring.
I'm sick. I'm guessing that I have whatever Jim was dying of over the weekend, since germs are sneaky (you're contagious well before you have symptoms, so they have a chance to get out there and infect all the hapless victims you encounter). I'm hoping that chugging orange juice will speed things along, but if not I'm probably going to wake up miserable tomorrow too. It seemed to be a 3-day illness. :-P
