" Once tagged by this entry, the assignment is to write a journal entry with six random facts about yourself. Then, pick six of your friends and tag them; no tag backs. This explanation should be included."
Since many of my friends find it appropriate to just say "everyone that can see this is tagged," I consider myself tagged, and have decided to respond as required.
1. The primary motivation in my life is praise; I'll do what I need to do, but I'm more likely to do a good job and enjoy the project, whatever it is, if there's a strong possibility that I will be recognized for it.
2. I am a procrastinator, and I think the reason for my procrastination is not that I'm lazy or unorganized, but because it adds a challenge when I have to do something at the last minute. That way, when I get an A on a paper, I can further compound the accomplishment by saying that I wrote the thing in two hours. I make my life much more complicated because I want the attention.
3. My little toe doesn't touch the ground, on either foot. When I walk through puddles barefoot, there are only four toeprints.
4. I have A- blood. I thought I was A+ until I donated blood my senior year in high school.
Both my parents are A+, and they said I was A+ (there's only a 25% chance that I'd turn out to get both recessive genes). My sister is A+ too. I donate blood on a regular basis so there's some floating around out there, since my family can't give me blood.
5. When I was in elementary school, I read Witch Cat at least five times a year. I bought it online a couple years ago because I wanted to make sure my kids would be able to read the books I loved when I was little.
6. I came to college without a clear idea of what I wanted to do for a living. I decided at about 8 that I wanted to be a veterinarian, and didn't figure out until I was a senior in high school that my allergies and my dislike for most animals but cats made me ill-suited for the job. I applied to Purdue to be in veterinary science anyway, because I was that stuck on the idea.
If you haven't decided to post 6 random facts about yourself yet, I doubt very much that my tagging you will influence your decision to participate, but consider yourself tagged regardless.
