Life is good these days....
Two of my new year's resolutions are complete, one of which a long time resolution, to run a half marathon, which I did this past Saturday. It was just as hard as I thought I could be, but I did it and I loved it so much that I decided to run another one in May. This could be the start of a very interesting addiction, perhaps leading to a marathon (I hope!).
The second goal was to go on an amazing Semana Santa vacation, which will commence tomorrow. I'm meeting my family in Cinque Terre Italy, which is in the north and is supposedly one of the most beautiful places in Europe. We will walk around and visit the five towns, catch up on everything and, of course, eat a ton. I am so happy because not only is it an opportunity to visit a great new place, but it is also of course, an opportunity to visit my family.
Aside from that, I have some other goals, too, most of which revolve around money (saving it, actually) and school, which is resolving itself little by little. The next few months are going to be a bitch, working my last few months as the school (sadness!) and trying to finish four final projects (empirical studies, no less) and my scholarship project, which has to be fantastic. But I think that I'm up for it, so we'll see, and then I have an amazing and relaxing summer to look forward to, which will be nice.
