It might be some summery afternoon when Emmeline goes in search of Sugar. The young woman has done a fine job raising the girl, better than her own biological parents. And she hopes to play an important role in the young lady's life, though she's well aware nothing she can give will be as integral as the love and care that Sugar and her young gentleman can give.
