One reason I love having cats: Without them hunting it I would not have noticed that giant ass bug running around in the dark near the kitchen until I likely stepped on it.
One reason I hate having cats: Mr. Mighty Hunter has had it in his mouth twice but can't seem to grasp the point of actually killing it, so he keeps dropping it and then having to chase it under every large piece of furniture he can find.
One thing that will make me make high pitched noises of terror: Getting a first hand demonstration of the fact that while the whatever it is can fly to escape the two cats currently hunting it will fly every which way except out the open door even when near it.
