MAAN petition update
It's still all happening with our petition to have Much Ado about Nothing filmed and released to DVD. We have a small army of wonderful fans who are blogging, tweeting, tumblring the links consistantly and this is showing in the steady climb of signatures. As of a few moments ago the signature count stood at 8562. With continuing support our hopeful inital goal of reaching 10000 signatures is getting closer. We wouldn't stop there though as the more support the better.
Our facebook page is also gaining in popularity. Currently has 623 likes and stats climbing daily. People are more than welcome to make comments or suggestions on the page and share ideas.
I don't know much about conventions but if anyone is attending one in the next month or so please feel free to make up a paper petition and take it along. There is a least one member who recently attended a couple of conventions in Australia and took along her own petition to collect signatures from patrons.
I also have the petition and facebook sites listed in my author profiles on Teaspoon and Fanfiction. I get regular reader traffic viewing my profile and have been informed by several people that they signed the petition because of seeing the details on my author page. I'm going to add it to my live journal profile today as well. If you write and publish your fics perhaps you could do the same.
