“Oh dear. I don’t think you’re here for an appointment.”
The older man looked rather confused, but to his credit, he composed himself well. “Appointment?”
Tamaki, however, was already off in his own little world. “Yes, you’re just a bit too…grimy for good company,” he was mumbling to himself, slowly circling Aragorn with the look of a lion eyeing its prey. “And your hair is positively dreadful.”
“Dreadful?” Aragorn was usually much more eloquent than this, but Tamaki had the unique ability to fluster practically anyone with only a few words. Besides, no one had ever brought up the subject of his hair before. “Well, I have been traveling for a long time - ”
“We must do something with it!” Tamaki declared loudly, slamming a fist into his open palm. “Think of it as charity to the poor and unfortunate.”
“Unfortunate?”
“Kaoru, Hikaru!” Tamaki shouted over his shoulder, ignoring Aragorn’s protests, and spun around to grin at the man enthusiastically. “I think a makeover is in order.”
Aragorn didn’t exactly know what a makeover was, but he definitely didn’t like the sound of it.
