So Far, So Good

It's now Day 3.

I slept the entire day away. I'm still very fatigued and I still have a very stubborn headache.

I got myself some sugar-free gum. Luckily I haven't forgotten how to chew. I also manged to go to Ikea and buy a new apple slicer and plant, although I don't know why I was so eager to replace an apple slicer I can't use. I did, however, avoid the Ikea dogs. I don't what it is, since I am quite disgusted by hot dogs in general, but Ikea dogs always seem so appealing.

I bought a new blender. Our old one wouldn't even mash chickpeas; it was pretty ridiculous to say the least. Now I can add ice to my shakes, which helps to numb the terrible flavour. I can't get over how disgusting the vanilla ones are. I can't believe I actually liked them on day one!!! They smell like Playdoh and taste even worse. I can't wait until this week is over and I can get all chocolate for next week.

My best friends are coming down tomorrow to celebrate a couple birthdays within the group, including my fiance's. I bought a cake, but I made sure it wasn't a college-square Loblaws cake.... because those are my absolute favourite. We were originally going to go wedding dress shopping tomorrow, but what's the point now? I won't be able to try anything on since the dresses on the rack are usually a size 8, and I'm more of a size 20. There's always their "diva" section, which is code word for "plus size". Still, those dresses are usually hideous and attempt to cover arms and shoulders and anything else that might be deemed unacceptable for a fat girl to show. Whatever, I am not afraid to show off my body.... I would just prefer to be in better health... and to actually fit into the dresses that I like. We can go in February after I've lost the weight. :)

Is it bad I'm already planning on what I want to eat the very first day I can eat? I would really like a slice of Mrs.Vanellis Pizza. That's all.

I always crave pizza when I'm dieting.

I have one more shake to drink tonight. Chocolate. Thank God.

I hope I can stick to this! Man, I wish I was in the 6-week group.
