Well, I am from Kansas. Pie's not hard to come by. Any idea on the kind?

I can make the pie kind of but we'd need to find candles. You know, old-fashioned birthday candles. Maybe one that says "YOU'RE EIGHT!"

Prefect, maybe? I only have plain candlesticks and a few stubby ones. You could put icing on it instead, and we could just stick some candlesticks in it. I think he'd find that charming.

If you need help baking, let me know. I raised a twelve year old girl and she's made me no stranger to baking.

Yeah, actually, yeah that might work. We just need something to hold them in. It'll be real birthday pie then.

Alright. If it's apple pie, you should make the filling now, or it'll end up tart. Unless he likes that.

I'll just make the crust and leave it in the kitchen, if that's cool. After that it's a piece of... uh, cake.
