Starting with the desire to make an angsty fuckbuddies Kirk/McCoy Mix, I ended up creating probably the most whimsical best friendlovers relationship mix i've ever done. Because I can't help myself. ZOMG SO MUCH STRANGE WHIMSY.
Charting the Academy, Bones' fear of flying, denial over the obvious LOVE between them, Enterpriseyness, Jim's propensity for dashing off on Away Missions and getting his arse beat and causing Bones mega-angst every time he has to patch his Captain up again, and their forever loveangst in the distant futureness past XI.
