1.Come November, i'm packing up for a weekend and going to the FUCCUP (The Further Upper Canada, err, Canadian University Press) conference. Badass.
Whenever the Gateway (The UofA's paper) and the Ubyssey (UBC's sister paper) are at the same conference, there must be a dance-off. It's written into the Mandate.
Plus, y'know, there's lots of speakers and seminars and actual university-newspaper-y things going down. I look forward to November.
2. Stemming from a conversation last week, I did some research into my degree and realized that I require six credits in another language to graduate. I'm thinking either French (yay, canadian bilingualism!) or Russian (yay, personal heritage!). Any suggestions?
