I'm updating purely out of boredom, just so you know.
1. This - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L54COQ98Xcc - is just stupid. Damn him. Damn him to hell.
2. My Yamaha CS1X synth arrived today.
It was the first of its kind (digital sounds, analogue-style interface) but its still almost as good as recent models, and for £110 off Ebay I'm certainly not complaining. Plays nicely and does a very convincing analogue impression. w00t.
3. Last school concert evar was today. Didn't go too badly music-wise, although the look of disappointment on Miss Stroud's face when she realised that her present wasn't 5 copies of Blade Runner will haunt me to my grave.
4. I'm doing a bit of music exam accompaniment tomorrow, and this is definitely going to be the worst one ever. Putting a small child in a stuffy room with a strange man and a blocked trumpet is always a recipe for disaster, but when one of said children has Asperger's Syndrome, and another actually can't play the pieces at all (this is according to his own mother) ... fun fun fun.
