Searching for William the Bloody

I started off in the direction of the conflicted energy. It wasn't that it was far away, but it seemed... muffled somehow. I recall feeling something like this before, but for the existence of me, I can't place it. As we walk, the energy is getting stronger, but not clearer. It remains muffled. Usually sensing energy like this is somewhat like an electric shock. Now it felt more like simple heat, without the bite.

I continue walking toward the source. It's rather intriguing to run up against something I don't recognize. I'm not usually the 'intrigued' type, but something about this is just familiar and a bit frightening. Even if the rather entertaining human has imbued William with a soul, it shouldn't feel like this. That wouldn't muffle the energy, it would just change it's charge. It would go from positive to negative.

Suddenly it dawned on me. Small children! That's what the muffled energy felt like. Small children who hadn't fully developed. But that makes no sense. William certainly isn't a child and I don't sense two presences. I pear around a tree to see a cave up ahead. I'm certain that is where he is. I stop short, actually a little frightened. Tucker, who I had completely forgotten about, comes up next to me.

"I think he's in there... but something is wrong. The energy is subdued for some reason. It doesn't seem right that it's because of the magic you worked. It's something else. I'm not sure we should go in there."

((OOC: Open to Tucker and Spike. Hope it's ok that I had Tucker stop next to me.))
