So soon after returning to the Soul Society; Toshiro found himself 'trapped' (as he would put it, anyway) on that community. Strange... so many nice people there; yet at the same time...
Well, that was the exact reason why he had to return to the world of the living. Though, not his 'own'; anyway. He carefully coordinated plots - where some of the

Toshiro's small fingers strummed on his knees, and slowly he slid back, pulling his knees to his chest and listened to her, attentively. His body reflexively jerked when she poked his arm, and he scowled up at her with a blink.
"Oh, well-! Ah, the body you see now isn't my real body. It's a Gigai. A gigai is an artificial body that allows Shinigami to be seen in the living world. It can function and move exactly like a real human body could! Except; it isn't real. Including blood flow and everything. So for the mean time; I'm just like you, Maggie." he smiled softly; relaxing only a little.
"The Exorcist...? An Exorcist is one who exorcises bad souls right? So; yes. Like that. There are many hollows that before going to Hueco Mundo; they stay in the world of the living and pray on human souls. Devouring them up. One - to hundreds at a time. It is our job to help them; and guide them to the right path."

...Jeez, could he be any more adorable? She wanted to give him hugs. He reminded her of her old best friends little brother.
"Sorry about that. So..." She shifted forward, a little excited. "Can Ggio or Grimmy do this? Be all solid? I want to meet them, too. Ggio talked about sending me something to up my ...'spiritual awareness' but he hasn't had a chance yet."
"It's a movie, but yeah the guy in the movie gets the demon out of the little girl. Sounds similar to...that."

"I'm sorry. That isn't what you asked. I guess they could. Maybe. No Arrancar has never needed to. They wouldn't be able to get their hands on one; that's for sure. And as for that movie; yes. It's exactly like that. Except these souls aren't in anyway. They're just... here; and they're haunted. We free them from well... themselves; as sad as that is."

She shook her head, her face wearing a disgusted expression.
"Well...could you like...show them how? Or tell me so I can tell them?" She sounded excited now. "That movie scared me as a kid."

They're wise ... um.. m-maybe a bit silly too." Chappy, was quick to come to mind. Very popular with female shinigami.
"I don't know about that!! I'll think about it!" he wanted to change the subject. The thought of Arrancar wandering around streets as people was a little worrying to him. Back to that movie, it seemed to excite her. "There isn't anything scary about saving souls Maggie. Sure it's dangerous but ... its actually quite sad."
Clearly he had no idea what The Exorcist was.

She shook her hands, trying to calm herself.
"It would be great if you could show Ggio." She looked eager. "And Grimmy."
..."Have you actually seen the Exorcist?"
Reply
"No? I've never seen any movies, actually. Certainly not your sort!"

"Okay. Movies. You haven't seen any? Really? Want to watch one?"
Reply
"Really! Really. A lot of us don't stay long to think about watching movies when we come here... I wonder if any even know of-- uh watch one? Okay - like what?"
Reply
"Well, there's a few things we can watch. It depends on what you like. Romance, comedy, adventure, drama. I've got a ton of movies. Bought them all when I got the TV." She gestured to the large, flat screen TV she had bought recently.

"You cannot watch them all at once, right? You must have a lot of time to watch them all? " Toshiro kept looking around, small fingers running over surfaces of all kinds; all ending with him going back to sitting on his legs in front of the large screen. "You pick, because I have no idea."

She stared at him while he chattered utter nonsense at her, then shrugged.
"Yeah just like that."
She stood up and made her way over to sit next to him looking thoughtful.
"Nope, can't watch them all at once. Unless you have a bunch of TVs, but then that would probably get confusing. Okay, how about...a combination. Indiana Jones is a classic combination of humor and adventure. There's four of them, but they aren't totally reliant on seeing them in chronological order."

Usually he wouldn't bother spending time doing such idle things as just sitting around watching a film of someone else's life; but Maggie seemed so inviting, and so willing to let him into her home and relax.
He was starting to feel a bit guilty.

"Oh! I forgot your tea; hope the water hasn't boiled up..." Oops. She went into the kitchen, and yep, the water was boiling but not overflowing, thankfully. Once situated and the pot was removed from the stove, she brought it back out to him with a triumphant little grin. She didn't burn the building down in her attempt.
"It's raspberry, it's all I have. Hope that's okay. I have sugar if you want that, too." She gestured. "And you don't have to sit on the floor if you don't want to, you can sit on the couch."

Vivid memories of Orange-zest eel soup and cranberry ginger tomato juice. And those were the more "gentle" of dishes. Orihime definitely had a sense of taste no one else did; except, maybe Rangiku.
Toshiro looked back up at her as she told him he could sit back on the couch, and he set his tea down to gently pull his shoes from his feet and set them aside. Those sneakers were pretty uncomfortable; and he wasn't sure how humans dealt with them. He'd take walking around in his tabi any day.
He picked up his cup and sat back on the couch, occasionally glancing from Maggie to the television after she put in the DVD.

She kicked her feet up and rested them on the coffee table, a habit she’d always had that her mother hated.
