I keep finding smelly dogs who stink up everything. There was the one I plan on hunting and now there's one at the monkey man's shop. Still don't think it's quite fair that I finally found a monkey but can't have it. At least there are more monkeys out there even if the monkey man refuses to tell me. The bird man doesn't seem to know about them either.
The maid's not being so bothersome lately. She got too close and ended up getting bit. Her own fault, not mine. It's just good because people have been rather jumpy the last few days. There was some sort of fire from the sounds and smell of it. It was in another section of this area and I could smell it from the guy's house. Awful smell at that. From the sounds of it, no one important was hurt or killed. Just some random noble and his household, that's all. Wish people would stop making a fuss over it. Don't see why it was that important. Not like the noble was anyone special.
It's harder to go around in cat form now because of all the commotion. Annoying human form isn't as good though it's easier to learn. The monster keeps trying to take control and some days it's better than others. Haven't been able to figure out why there's a difference. Some mornings I'll just wake up and it's impossible to control the monster and it's screaming to be let out and other times, it'll be days before the monster becomes unmanageable. There's no pattern that I can tell. It just seems to be all completely random.
