Wow...
I may be disproven about the lack of quality in Bakersfield men...and that scares me. Wednesday night, if you read earlier entries, I went out with a guy to Denny's, then closed down a bar with him when we decided to go for cocktails. He enjoyed my company so much that he invited me over for poker last night...after CLEANING him out (didn't know I was such a poker shark, did ya?), we hung out talking, making fun of various television shows, etc. The guy is AWESOME...I'm very glad to have met him, and we'll see how things go...one day at a time for this girlie. Just wanted to share my VERY happy second date...doesn't come along too often that I'm actually engaged in conversation with someone who intellectually challenges me, makes me laugh, AND is cute to boot! :) Funny, he had given up on women too...
