After reading
leleca's LJ entry, I completely sympathized with her entry, where she enjoyed a relaxing weekend and is now frustrated and stressed over a test she has tomorrow night (good luck, hun!). The weekends of relaxation go by so fast, and the school days lag...at least there's nothing for me to do after school tomorrow!
My weekend went well. Saturday night stopped by a friend's house for a bit, but there was no party...so I had a friend come over until 2am...good times. Said friend went home and I headed to my classroom for a few hours this morning. He came to help me set up some files for each of my ag students, then came over some more tonight. Good to hang out with him, but he spent most of his time over here chatting on my computer with
stormer23...so any interest I had in him kinda went out the window. Not her fault, but when you come over to hang out with someone? Don't spend 90% of your time on her computer "getting to know" her friends...
My teaching friend came over after he left tonight for some conversation in the hot tub, music downloading, guitar playing...fun!
And now it's back to work tomorrow! YAY WORK! I'm anxiously awaiting Thanksgiving and Christmas...lol. This two days off thing on the weekends? Not nearly enough time to accomplish things *and* maintain a social life.
