Sunburns and parents ;)
Got a sweet farmers BURN on my lower arms, back of my neck, face, etc. from shearing on Monday...but all the goats are sheared now that need to be, and I think I'm done shearing for awhile...maybe until the goats need it again 10 days before fair...yee haw! Worked a long day Monday and hung out with John for some swimming Monday night...I was too sunburnt to enjoy it, but John had a good time!
Today? Worked ALL friggin' day. Got the rest of my paycheck (well, less than what I was owed, but it's an emergency loan off of my next paycheck when they actually have those days planned to pay me for...long story), deposited that, and got back to school for, um, BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT! It was fun to meet parents, use my LCD projector and power point stuff...I got all dressed up in a pretty skirt and everything too...I was hot shite!
Tomorrow? Meeting at 7:15am with my FFA officers, school all day (with meetings during my prep AND lunch), and then our first FFA meeting of the year at 7pm...so another long day. Thursday? School all day, project visits with kids at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm and 7pm...have I mentioned that I can't WAIT until October 5th when fair is over?
