Blimey. i just finished harry potter! fer good. thanks to James (potter jr.)
update: September 17 i will be moving to Tennessee Insha'alah to a radical farm filled with music, art, organics, plenty of queer people, and i guess jews. it will be an entirely new experience. and begins with this:
http://www.planetida.com/idapaloozafruitjam.html gardening internship in the greenhouse! amazing. rad. fucking brilliant. unexpected.
maybe!! ill even hitch hike there. though i suppose its not as safe as in Israel or Palestine where mostly the religious right winged orthos pick up lost travelers and try to brainwash reality out of us vulnerable white people. but there MUST be an art to it! i mean. people have been hitch hiking here forever. and all the old folks say its not the same as the seventies. but woop di doodley doo fuck that everythings dangerous.
(....well it would be best with a buddy at least.)
and I spoke to Antioch admissions today who brightly say its fine and dandy if i come in january DESPITE the threat of destruction looming over its fragile head. its just a silly expensive option. if i dont return to Palestine and Israel soon enough to visit my dear soul mates and their mamas.
I admit to being anti-social thus far. besides being up north with the family and then heading to the Native american Lakota sweat lodge and kind of hanging around Riverwest.
been the ultimate book worm and email geek. sleeping patterns are still hazey. BUT when i do crawl late to the basement and find a double-sized foutan that was once mine, i spread out as far as possible! its amazing. no one understands how priveleged/lucky one is with such room to sleep! ALL ALONE in one big ass bed. with no tugging of blankets or other bodies hogging the space.
AH! appreciation like mad.
Tomorrow: 6pm at the Cream City Collective. come to hear 2 ladies show pictures and speak about their experiences in Palestine and Israel. do it.
and now i will make the slide show for those ladies, and figure out what they may talk about in just a meagle litle hour.
