You and Gabe looked awesome dancing at the wedding. You were the best dancers out there! Mama made some lame comment about how Gabe dances well for an MIT grad, and I was like, "Dude, they're the best-dancing couple out there!" (I think your dress helped with that, it is eyecatching and swirls nicely).

Have you looked into the possibility of getting a generic battery that fits your computer? I have heard this is possible, but know nothing more about it. Alex had battery/charging woes with his previous laptop (a Mac).

Oh, and Cincinnati is one of the many evil place names in the US with a double letter tossed in randomly somewhere just to make life difficult. It is the second n sound that is double, though.

Good yo hear from you (even if I did have Graeter's with you less than a week ago!)

What kind of swing do you do? I'm hugely into West Coast now, but I'm trying to be aware of other forms as well. :)

we do east coast swing. basically, that's what gabe does and he taught me, so i'm not really on top of it. he actually knows very little of west coast swing. makes me wonder what it's like...

West coast is more pattern based (the whole dance is, to a close approximation, composed of 6 and 8 beat patterns). It's kind of sexier and smoother than east coast (which in tern is way smoother than Lindy). You can do it to almost all pop music.

I should actually get out there and learn some bits of other swing dances. I love west coast, but I do feel a little bit like I'm in my own little world.
