Writer's Block: Regime Change

A more green economy, a better housing situation and more equality to begin with.

I'd also like to see the Bush administration stripped of its immunity from prosecution for crimes committed during the past 8 years, and then prosecuted for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed on their watch and by their orders.

If G.W.B. were then to be brought to trial in The Hague, a court he recognizes only as long as it isn't convened on behalf of an American defendant, that'd be gravy.

That'll never happen, of course. But a guy can dream.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not anti-American. I was however firmly opposed to the now finally!!! former administration, and the atrocities they're responsible for.

After the bafflement that was Bush's 2nd term reelection, I kept wondering from time to time when it was that he would be impeached. This will do as well.

Tonight, for the first time in ages, I felt proud to put my hand to my heart as I sung the anthem along with everyone else; as a European, I felt a proud world citizen, a world with a new United States led by a far more capable man now: Obama.

Good luck, Mr. President. I wish you and your country well.
