I feel incredibly geeky in a good way after reading this because it is a very nice hot scene with webcam action. They are going to be so explosive together once they meet face-to-face.
Hopefully Barney or Codex doesn't crap out and mess up what is going on here.
BTW? Very nice job with the chemistry you have going on through the dialogue. It reads really nicely.

As a geek guy who has a geek girl for his better half, I might've had an advantage when it came to writing this. Although, as I'm also a gent (well, I can be), exactly how true to life this is, I'll leave between her and I :P
I couldn't say if it's totally geeky to find this silly hot. I did, but then I'm a member of the same geeky league, so not best qualified to answer that question.
I also hope that neither of them messes up. Both could use a decent relationship, and they appear eminently well suited for each other.
Hopefully there'll be another chapter tomorrow, with the conclusion of the cam chat. Then later the business meeting and date proper. :)

He IS Tedding out about her a bit, indeed :D
(Which is so much fun to write, a flapped unflappable one)

What I mean is that one or either of them screws up the sexy "mood" and pushes things out of kilter. It would be easy for them to both revert to "geek" type and be a little inept in the seduction scenario.
>The next part of the cam 'chat', or their transition as they fumble from cyberspace into meatspace? :P
Either one works!

I've modeled Barney on me and Codex on Lo for this story (well, somewhat... situation is entirely different - and though I got spades of game, I'm not a womaniser), and since I know both of us well... :P
Lo's ashamed of herself when on the odd occasion she goes girly-girl, or squee's like a fangirl in public. True Story. I can't say I blame her, I love her geek self to bits, and I'm glad she's not the girly-girl type.
