2008.10.10 Maki on Southern Hyoutan Island

This time actress Horikita Maki will visit the southern hyoutan island called "Kuchierabujima" (Kuchierabu Island).
It's an island that looks like a hyoutan (calabash), 12km west of Yakushima with an area of 38.04km² and a circumference of 48.67km. The whole island is a natural park and the biggest in the Satsunan volcano group of islands. Shintake at the southeastern center area of the island is also still emitting fumes as of now. There are only about 150 people living on that island and the only primary and junior high school there is Kingaku. The school has 8 primary school and 2 junior high school students that get a long and study together.
Horikita Maki will become the temporary teacher of that school! She'll be a beginner teacher and share the great nature together with the children for 4 days and 3 nights. Will she be able to accomplish her plan of living the life of a person on a small island, teaching the children and exchanging their hearts and spirits?
