[Haru was doing what he did best, roaming the mansion halls drawing pictures of things anatomically horrifying and listening to loud music. He doesn't notice the sound of the panther but...It's impossible for him to ignore that beautiful black shape and bright eyes.

He goes very pale and looks ready to faint but instead of dropping out quietly he screams and flails about.]

AHHHHH!!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?! ARE YOU REAL?!

[Bagheera heard the Man-cub long before the Man-cub spotted him.

But he was not expecting the reaction he received. The shrieking and flailing like an injured bird nearly made him jump out of his skin.

Fur bristled, he can't help but yell back.]

I AM A PANTHER, AND OF COURSE I AM REAL!

[He sits, shoulders hunched, panting, and staring wide-eyed at the Man-cub.]

[Haru shuts his trap in a hurry and stares quietly in amazement. Of course he's still talking pretty fast when speaks again.]

Wow.You're a REAL panther and YOU TALK...Wait cats can talk?

[And now he's going to start talking to his cat.]

It's just I've never seen a real panther before. My Grandmother was a lynx but it's not like I ever got to see her.

You're really big. It's nice to meet you panther, I'm Haru.

[Bagheera blinks in amazement as the words come tumbling out of the pale Man-cub.]

I am a real Panther, and I am speaking with you. I have only been able to understand one other Man before, but never the rest.

I am honored to be the first Panther you've met. You are the first Man-cub I have met whose grandmother is a lynx. I must admit, however, that I do not know what a lynx is.

It is nice to meet you, Haru the Man-cub. I am Bagheera. You... are not so big.

That's funny~ I was going to say the same thing about you! No wait there's the Chesire Cat..He talks but he's from Wonderland and probably talks cause of that. You're not from here right?

[Haru tries to walk around him to take in the full panther exprience.]

Um, a lynx is like a small angry wild cat with ear tuffs. They don't have long tails and they scream a lot.

I'm not very big but I'm not a cub~ I'm full grown.

[nomansplaything]

I am not from here. I am from the Jungle.

[As Haru tries to circle, Bagheera turns with him. He's too wild to allow a human to have his back.]

I... would be interested to see a Lynx. They sound interesting.

[He's rather surprised at that last bit of information.]

My apologies! I don't think I have seen a full grown Man the size of you before! How many summers have you seen?

I wouldn't. I bet it'd bite me. So there are other places with talking animals~ That's not really fair!

[Since he can't see the whole cat he'll stay still, that mouth of his still running a mile a minute though.]

Most people haven't. Maybe it's the lynx in me or something. I'm not quite sure cause I never was interested in anything like that. Let's see~ I'm comfortable with saying that I'm 24 to 25 summers~

Ah! Twenty-five summers! That is older than I, my friend!

How old are you? You look like an adult to me..

[nomansplaything]

I am an adult, but we Leopards age differently than Men. We are grown by our second summer. I have seen twelve summers.

[skater_lynx]

So that makes you very old doesn't it?

[nomansplaything]

Ah, pfffffffff... [He thinks for a moment.] No, not really. I guess I have a... middle age? I am grown and have been this way, but my body is not weak and will not become this way for a few more seasons yet. I had a friend pass on during his twenty-first summer.

[skater_lynx]

That's not very long at all~ But I guess everyone lives different lengths. It's been nice meeting you Mr.Panther! Let's have lunch sometime~ You might actually appreciate my cooking~ <3
