[There's a pretty distracted sigh, someone is none to pleased with this situation and is griping about it under his breath whilst he fiddles to get things working.] ... Fuck me. [...] No poetry this time, Scientists? Don't tell me you're all getting lazy. Next I'll be hearing that you guys can't be assed with the chips anymore.
[Aaand video, on!

Tchright. I'll be waiting.
[And he won't be in the tub for once. He'll be on the ol' reliable couch of theirs, only lightly sprinkled with glass.]

Anyway-- long story short, he's standing in front of that couch now.]
Miss me?

[Okay, so maybe Kakihara won't be saying anything today? He just stares at Reno, standing there in front of him, all cleaned up and healthier than he was before. Not transparent. Not in his mind, but there. It would be wonderful to be able to say that it takes every fiber of his being not to leap up and embrace the other man, but instead it would take every bit of him to do so. He's stunned. Numb, even.]

With a sigh, he seats himself on the coffee table, careful about putting his weight on it since the poor thing must be on its last legs, and leans forward slightly. Resting his elbows on his knees and his chin on a fist while he just watches Kakihara a moment or two before speaking up again.]
You've met my partner, you know I'm immune to the silent treatment.

He'd half been expecting Kakihara to walk off when he'd gotten up, which would've been... Well, kind of a dick move, but hardly a reaction Reno wouldn't have gotten. He doesn't know what it's like exactly on Kakihara's side of things, but he knows what it's like to have people you knew and cared about just up and vanish. For them to just turn up a few months later like nothing happened. Memories optional.
Except now he's being... hugged? This is indeed sending him for a bit of a loop and he's not sure how he feels about this, so Reno goes with the motion until he has half a face full of Kakihara's stomach and laughs a little.]
Thanks, mom. I feel a lot better now.

And maybe there's that old familiar tug. Maybe it's a little more vicious than it usually is. And maybe that loving embrace has become a bit more like a vice grip. Yeah that's right, Reno. Kakihara is now moving around to the back of you and getting you into some kind of lock, what is this. Once he's positioned, he leans down into Reno's ear and whispers, that angry rasp hinting his words.]
Next time you'll try harder not to let them overpower you, won't you... Or maybe you won't. Maybe you want to go back again, to your Turks and that Meteor shit. But if I catch them in the act, Ka-dinaru, do you know what I'll do to them? It scares me because I don't know it myself.
