Eep, engaged!
Between a combination of making sure I had emails out first, laziness, and now a broken computer, I haven't put this news up in the past 5 weeks. *Bad Rob!*
Anyway, I got engaged! Ai-Lun and I were talking about getting married since she came with me to the US & Canada for Imran's wedding & some other wandering. I finally got around to proposing in early November. The proposal itself wasn't that exciting, but at least it was a pain to put what I wanted in it, especially since I don't know Taipei as well as I should... And Ai-Lun doesn't always keep her phone charged. :P
With our current "living arrangement," having a long (or even a non-short) engagement won't help us, so we're have the first wedding ceremonies the weekend of New Years. There's also wedding photos we took way back (actually, before I proposed).
But we'll be married here in Taiwan the weekend of New Years, so there's plenty of scrambling going on here.
