bath time!

So, I went on this bike ride. Ended up being exactly 100km. And, dear god, the pain, make it stop. My quads are this close to being utterly smashed (as an alternate, they've cramped up... yay!). But I finished. The last 20, were killer, as I expected, but, like I said, I finished. (I'll put up stats in an edit in a couple hours). Right now, I'm gonna go take a long, long, hot bath. And then hopefully something will still be open for dinner. After a day of health, McDonalds seems in order.

Edit:
Man, that was the best Big Mac I've had in months... then again, it's the only Big Mac I've had in months. Still tasty.
The bath did wonders. Final stats: (I've had to estimate a couple things, I didn't have the speedometer turned on for about 13 miles. But, it does actually come out to 100km +/-2... probably plus.)
100.0 km, 5:56:13 (I prorated for the time I missed), for an average of 16.84 km/hr. Max at 50 kph.
After lunch, I was pretty tired, but thought we were half way done (this was after about 40km). Obviously that wasn't to be. however, I also thought that most of the rest of the time would be relatively flat. First thing we do is go up this monsterous climb. It just wouldn't bloody end. The was down was off-road, which was all cool. Then we went along the east coast of Taiwan for 10 or 20 km. It was windy (almost the whole trip was), which was irritating, but made for some huge waves, which I love to watch. So that was cool. And then it was to the west, to go to the OTHER coast of Taiwan. One pretty big mountain for the first 1/3 of that. Bloody killed me.

Oh, and because of the laundry snafu and that my water bag in my backpack leaked, I have nary a single pair of dry socks in my room. Hopefully one will appear in the morning.

OK, It's 9:45, and i'm off to bed.
