A ghost in my house?
We have had a lot of what you may call "paranormal activity" here in our home, but it then goes quiet for months before starting again!
A while back we had door handles moving as if being opened from the other side, then doors burtsing open! Upstairs an internal cupboard door that is not easy to open because it ruibs on the pile carpet, suddenly burst open on its own one night whilst Penny was up there on her own!
I have often had that feeling that someone is standing behind me watching what I am doing, and on accasions felt that someone was touching my back!
We also often both see a black cat out of the corner of our eyes, and thinking that it's Lulu our own moggie, we ignore it, only then for Lulu to enter the room and we realise it wasn't HER! lol
When I first moved in here, I got the strong feeling that a man had died in our bedroom some years ago of a stroke. Some weeks later I was chatting to our landllord's wife and she confirmed this to be spot on! So we wonder whether it is his presence here in the house.
The house lays on a strong energy line from Glastonbury Tor, so it's possible that we are visited by passing spirits on their journey.
This morning the electric kettle switched itself off with a click before it had boiled, whilst I was making my tea. I checked to see if we had a power-cut or a surge, but nothing else seemed affected. The kettle has never done this before, and when I reset it, it boiled as usual. It may have just been that I hadn't clicked the switch up properly, but I felt a shiver down my back just before it happened, just like I get when I know there is a "spirit" close by.
So maybe things are about to start happening again!
