Past Partner Syndrome!

Six years ago (nearly seven) I parted company with my ex wife after 18 years together. But she is still haunting me even though the woman is still very much alive lol!

First it was the CSA, then it was letters to shareholders, brown envelopes to advertisers and investors trying to destroy Glastonbury Radio and now she has even written to the an ( Read more... )

Perhaps you could e-mail privately and tell me a little more about what I can do via "Family Law"? ross@glastonburyradio.net.

I would welcome your advice.

Thanks

I have been very lucky with past partners, both of T and myself, as you know. But some people are just very sad individuals who don't have a great deal in their lives and who can't accept that they've lost control over a situation or a person.

Unfortunately your ex has apparently failed to realise that you've been very honest about anything that happened in your past, so there's really no point in distributing possibly libellous material. Although I do feel a bit left out that we haven't had an envelope, now you mention it!

As you know, I've spoken to a barrister (let alone a solicitor) recently about the Prevention of Harassment Act, as I believe it's called, and from the sound of it, you'd have a good case in bringing legal action.

The result of the envelopes is that everyone in town has simply thought what a stupid and malevolent piece of work this woman is - so at least it's gained you the sympathy vote for being married to someone with all the charm of a rabid weasel!

Thanks for this posting and for the advice.

The Police have done little as yet although the evidence is building. I could take civil action to restrict her from contacting people that know me through the family courts but to be honest I don't want to throw any more money at this woman!

The Police are also aware that she forged my signature on cheques and still they don't take action, so I guess I have just have to wait until they decide they have enough evidence to move forward! (But we're well on that case believe me lol!)

As for the brown envelopes, perhaps I should pass on her e-mail address and you can submit an official, complaint to her lol!
