They say that every cloud has a silver lining, and as many businessmen/women sit back and tighten their belts for the "recession", others are seeing the opportunities that arise in this financial climate.
Entrepreneurs from around the world, are usually creative and adventurous people who will make high risk investments for very high returns, and see the openings that others may miss.
Often referred to as "Business Angels" many of these people not only offer investment, but can also bring much needed skills to the table of small companies. But not without some risk.....
I have had business angels invest in previous companies who have been nothing short of asset-raiding pirates who try to strip the assets of your business and then kick the originators out, so one has to be very careful on who you choose to invest in your business. I was lucky, in that I spotted their devious plans and got rid of THEM before they got rid of me, and I left them very peeved lol!
However, a GOOD Business Angel is worth his/her weight in gold and can help you take a great idea into a big profitable money-making business, and we need someone like this to help us take Glastonbury Radio to it's next stage of development.
Online radio is growing worldwide, and with FM likely to be phased out around 2015, and DAB falling flat on it's arse, online radio will be the future of broadcasting globally, and those in it now, will reap the huge benefits when the larger companies start buying up the successful Internet stations.
