The Stone of Destiny
Last night I purchased a movie on Sky Box Office and for the first time saw ADS on the channel. It used to be just trailers for films on other Box Office channels, but now we have to sit through ads as well as trailers and the film itself was nearly four minute slate starting!
Also, I have noticed an increased volume when the ads come on, and I guess this is because they know many of us get up and go into the kitchen for a sandwich or a cuppa whilst the ads are on!
I pay enough for Sky as it is, without having to sit through all this crap, and to be honest with all those channels, I STILL have a problem finding something worth watching! I end up watching repeats of old comedies as there is very little else to watch!
The film I bought last night was about the Scots who allegedly stole the Stone of Destiny from Westminster Cathedral and returned it to Scotland. However it didn't tell how the "Stone" displayed in Edinburgh Castle is actually a fake! So where is the REAL one now?
