Well it was another GREAT Glastonbury Festival with some great performances over the three days.
No. 1 was of course Bruce Springsteen who blew us all away with a set full of energy and great musicianship from the fantastic E Street Band! 2.5 hours of awesome music and of course the BOSS getting into the audience as usual!
Second best performance award goes to MADNESS who were just brilliant, tied with ROLF HARRIS who was also fabulous despite causing a major pedestrian traffic upheaval with 100,000 pople all trying to acess the Jazz World Stage at once! Why on Earth didn't the organisers put him on the Pyramid Stage knowing he pulled 80,000 last time he was here.
Sharon Corr (The Corrs) did an amazing set on Sunday night on the Acoustic Stage and gave us a lovely interview and some EXCLUSIVE tracks to play you on the radio! Watch the website for details!
A big up to Stu and Izzy who manage theAcoustic Stage for being great people and the most helpful backstage managers on the whole site!
Nice guy award goes to TONY CHRISTIE who rang me from home to apologise for not having time to get over for a beer with me in our Winnebago on site!
More reports to come over the next few days when we get back as satellite broadand signal was a bit crap as was the localised press wifi!
Quite a few pics up at www.glastonburyradio.net/festival2009 but due to broadband problems, rest will go up when we get home!
