ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
OK call me a mad old conspiracy theorist if you wish, but I have had enough this year!
I have set up a group on Facebook called ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, and here is why....
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH is a new group making a strong peaceful protest to the UK government that we will no longer stand for paying for THEIR mistakes. Whether it's this government or the last one (or the one before that) no longer will we have taxes increased, student fees increased or benefits reduced, to pay for debts that the government has incurred through what we believe has been bad management. If the government was a company and we were all the shareholders, we would SACK the MD and offending Directors and I think NOW is the time to take that action and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. If you agree - please invite new members to the Facebook group!
In the real world though, if we did "sack the government" who would replace them? After all, politicians are all bad as one another, they all seem to lie in their manifesto's to get our vote, and the REAL decision makers are the puppet-master money-men and the civil servants who propose and carry out the government process itself!
I believe, government should be returned from centralised to LOCAL and therefore each area would have its budget tailored to it's needs, but then I guess funding may become an issue in itself!
