In Memorium
After months of being in a nursing home, followed by about two weeks in a hospital, my grandmother passed away today at the age of 94. My mother and her family (her brothers and their families) spent the past two weeks at her bedside almost 24 seven. We all knew the end was near so most of the immediate family got a chance to visit her about a week before she died.
Madie Westerholm was a very strong person spiriitualy and an inspiration to the whole family; we will miss her greatly, but we feel privileged to have been able to know her this long.
I pray we remember her life and her kindness for many generations. Her death is merely a transition.
