So, I'm a month into the travel (aka real) portion of my new position.
It's definitely my favorite so far, this comes with some good and bad portions:
Good
-I'm the only one doing my job, it adds a whole new idea of freedom
-I'm working with groups I feel I can truly help
-I work across North America (literally all 4 time zones, 12+ states)
-I have freedom to set my schedule
-I'm the most comfortable with my responsibilities I've ever been with the 'company'
Bad:
-I tend to feel responsible for all of my groups' success
-It's pretty time/travel intensive, not many days off
-The stress from feeling responsible can become pretty high
-Sometimes it's unclear what I need to focus on the most
Obviously, so far, the positives outweigh the negatives. I have my work cut out for me (kind of), and it will be an interesting year ahead.
