I'm still following this story.

Great job getting into Stacy's head. Not many writers are able to do that but you've done an excellent job of revealing why House is so damn difficult to deal with.

You had me going with House's disappearance. I swear he was off on a bender of some kind and here he was offering himself in a medical trial. He tends to do good things without telling anyone about it. Doesn't want the attention.

Poor Stacy just doesn't know what to do with him.

Thanks for the update and I totally understand how real life takes over. It's good that you have your priorities straight. :)

House always has his reasons. I've created a mystery for myself. I have no idea what he needed the money for...

I don't know about priorities... I'd like to do more writing for sure. But I've been distracted by running in social circles. Fun... but not conducive to good writing (or reading)

I am delighted to see this excellent story continue. You capture the stubbornness and shuttered emotional life of House perfectly, as well as Stacy's comprehending but non-pitying voice.
