My weekend in review was pretty standard.  There was the shopping trip yesterday which was good times.  Lots of laughs and fun with my boys and our girl Morgan.  Last night we went to the "blowoff" party which was kind of bleah.  I wasn't exactly aware of the crowd that went to blowoff and the venue was kind of a let down to what I had been expecting with all the hype that the 9:30 club gets.  I'd thought the night was going to be me and the boys, out having fun; dancing, drinking and the like.  The boys, however, had every intention finding someone and jumping into bed with them.  So we walked in, had a few drinks together, and then I pretty much got a "well, we'll catch you later" and they drifted out into the crowd.  I wasn't feeling the crowd, so I made nice with a few of the guys that I knew, and then when the boys came back and wanted to go to the Eagle's "after party" I opted for a drop off at the nearest Metro stop.
This afternoon we did our usual Sunday brunch, but it was pretty lame.  One of the boys was in a grump, I'm guessing because he got no ass last night, and he just kind of drained the energy from the conversation.  He opted to go home and skip the movie we were going to, and we livened up a little more.  Swung by the tattoo shop in Georgetown so I could get an estimate on my tattoo, but I didn't have a visual and the guy "couldn't pull price quotes out of his ass" so I'll have to go back with a print off.
We saw "No Reservations" this afternoon for lack of anything better to do and I was pleasantly surprised.  I thought it would be your standard formulaic "Taming of the Shrew" remake.  Cantankerous woman meets cocky man and despite their differences they fall in love anyway.  SO much better, and definitely worth seeing.  I recommend it.
Earlier tonight I was invited over a friends house for dinner.  We did chicken fajitas, I brought some corona and we just had a good time.  I ended up calling one of the boys that I was supposed to go to the bar with for karaoke to tell him I was "wiped out and not feeling the bar tonight so I was going to take a raincheck."  I didn't feel so bad for blowing him off after being blown off at blowoff, and now I'm in for the night.
Tomorrow I'm thinking about going to pick up new dress shoes, my current ones are a little beat.  Once a shining no longer does the trick, it's time for a new pair, so I'm thinking it's time for a new pair.
