So one of the more badass pieces of cookware I inherited is a shiny new
deluxe All-Clad slow cooker. It's big, seven quarts, and supposed to be pretty much the fanciest and best you can buy.
I've never made anything with a slow cooker. I really have only the faintest idea as to how. Any suggestions? Any good cookbooks? I know Fix it and Forget It is popular, but is it any good? Anyone ever mess around with crockery and slow cooking and such?
It's my ambition to make the greatest beef stew ever.
