So one of the more badass pieces of cookware I inherited is a shiny new deluxe All-Clad slow cooker. It's big, seven quarts, and supposed to be pretty much the fanciest and best you can buy.
I've never made anything with a slow cooker. I really have only the faintest idea as to how. Any suggestions? Any good cookbooks? I know Fix it and Forget It is popular, but is it any good? Anyone ever mess around with crockery and slow cooking and such?
