Oh hello there...
Well, after almost 2 years of abandoning this thing.. I figured I'd sign back in and give a little update!
Where to start.. after a brief hiatus and doubt of what I wanted to do with my life, I finally got into my dream program! I got accepted to University of the Sciences for my masters in Occupational Therapy and will be done in approximately 2 1/2 years. Originally, I was going to go for my doctorate in it since I got accepted to the doctoral program of it...but at the moment that's not required for me to able to practice & I really did not want to get myself into that much debt just yet. Though this program is a lot more challenging than the last masters program I was in, (c'mmon, how many of you can say you dissected a human brain this summer..) I do not regret anything. I'm glad to finally be going for what I wanted to do for so long and it's def. worth the challenge.
I moved to good ole' Philly for the program back in May 2013, and I am currently residing in South Philly. (No no; not the ghetto hood part either.) I live with Jade, who I have known for almost what.. 6 years now? So all is pretty swell.
And last but not least.. my love life.
So who's the new apple of my eye? For the last 6 months, I have been seeing this guy Amit, who I met back when I worked at Apple in Atlantic City. He's a sweetheart, and even though he's almost 3 years younger then me..it works and I couldn't be ANY happier. The long distance thing sucks, but we've managed to make it work for the last 3 months.. and I don't see anything changing anytime soon. It's finally nice to have someone make time and effort for me in return. Heck, we even went to Ocean City, Maryland together-which was just lovely to say the least!
