Adventures

I have been questing for a journal. I've been to every single book and/or alternative new-agey store in town and can't find anything ideal.

I've been writing in spiral notebooks, but I want something sturdier than that. I want something with thick creamy pages, preferably blank. I have a couple of partially filled (meaning, possibly the first ten pages have words on them), but the one is huge and the other has a metal pressing of a flower in the cover. The problem is that, ideally, I want something with a suede-y sort of cover (or soft faux leather, something pretending that it used to be a cow), but that works like a spiral. I like the way you can fold the half you're not writing on all the way out of the way, so you can write all the way to the edge of the page.

But, failing that, a sort of smallish leathery blank (not lined) book without a terribly goofy motif on the outside would be ideal. Ah well, the search continues.

I have also discovered The Fratellis. I'm sure everyone else already has, but I am generally developing a taste for bouncy, slightly treacherous music, which feels rare (but probably really isn't), so I enjoy the hell out of it when I find it.
