Prior to a performance at the New Music Seminar in New York City in July 1993, Cobain suffered a heroin overdose. Rather than calling for an ambulance, Love injected Cobain with illegally acquired Narcan to bring him out of his unconscious state. Cobain proceeded to perform with Nirvana on what later was recognized as one of their more memorable performances. The public was given no hint that anything out of the ordinary had taken place.
This is one of the most inspirational, beautiful things I have ever read. Kurt is one of the most inspirational beautiful people who ever walked this earth.
I can't concieve of ever living a day as perfect as this.
Imagine just nearly dying as a result of your own exaggerated human weakness, and just barely making it thanks only to your significant other who saves you, and then performing the show of your life. I think it's the immediate afterwards where it would seem perfect. The moment where you wind up in a deli with all your friends just hanging out drinking a beer, eating a corned beef sandwich.
I'll probably never do heroin, but please God, let us all just peacefully be at Canter's together a few more times after partying before everyone just gets to old and too cool to do stuff like that,

It was just God's plan
