I just signed up to have New Roots Organics
deliver a box of organic/locally grown fruits and vegetables to my house once every two weeks. It's $35 a delivery. The way I look at it is, we're good about going to the store and buying a ton of pasta and rice and meats and things to make meals, but then we end up going back to the store once a week for produce. This way, we can stock the pantry and freezer and then the produce will just appear on the front porch! I don't think $35 for two weeks is that bad. Plus, I like the adventure of just having to figure out how to cook random veggies.
