After some thinking, I decided to return home. It's been several months since I visited my father. I haven't told him about the outcome of the war with Aquaria or my misadventures with those otherworlders across the 'universe' (as they called it). I went through the portal back to Airyglyph, and was greeted with many stares and gasps of surprise. The maggots find my manner of dress particularly odd, but I have grown accustomed to that. I merely figured that they were surprised at my return from celestial travel.
Imagine my surprise when I found a new gravestone next to my father's. A gravestone that was mine. perhaps I've been shuffled through a few dimensions or so, but I am certainly not dead. After paying my respects, I chased someone down and demanded an explanation. Apparently Luther was defeated three years ago, and I am the only one of our number who didn't immediately reappear. My companions assumed that I had merely died in the middle of things.
Bah. As if Albel Nox would die that easily.
I developed a headache after being in Airyglyph for a while, and decided for the moment that it's better to remain a dead man in Airyglyph. After all, there are so many places and oppurtunities to explore. Why bother defending a nation I no longer care for?
